More Good News for John Green Fans…

Universal has optioned the film rights to the short story collection, Let It Snow, written by John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle. Let it Snow is about three intertwining stories of several high school couples and their experiences, hardships, and  joys of romance during a Christmas Eve snowstorm their small town.

Join us after school for a two-day Thor Movie Marathon! Today (Wed. Aug. 13) we’ll be watching Thor. Tomorrow (Thurs. Aug. 14) we’ll watch Thor: The Dark World. Both movies run 5-7pm – AND we’ll provide the movie snacks and drinks! After school win!

The Page Turners WORLD PREMIERE & Holes on Our Outdoor Movie Screen TONIGHT!

We’ve got your Saturday night plans covered! If you already have plans, CANCEL THEM and head to HCPL’s Sugar Creek Branch lawn for two free outdoor movies + popcorn.

Tonight we’ll be showing the world premiere of The Page Turners, a hilarious short film that takes a look at what happens when readers get sucked into a good book—literally. This movie has been written, directed, acted by, and edited by your Hancock County peers. Support your local arts and talent!

After you enjoy The Page Turners, we’ll be showing the movie Holes, based on the Louis Sachar‘s novel.


It’s a beautiful night for an outdoor movie night!!! Movies will start when it gets dark. See you on the lawn!
