Overdue Materials
- A patron may be notified of overdue material via e-mail, mail, and SMS (Text) messaging.
- Patrons are notified via e-mail of SMS (Text) messaging three days prior to an item's due date, and one day overdue.
- Patrons are notified via e-mail or SMS (Text) messaging, or mail when an item is overdue more than one week, and again when more than two weeks overdue.
- Patrons are notified via mail when an item is more than 30 days overdue.
- A final overdue notice will be mailed and e-mailed to the patron when an item is a minimum of 30 days overdue.
- If the item is subsequently returned, the patron will be responsible for the accrued fine (not to exceed the cost of the item). If the item is not returned, the Lost/Damaged Materials policy is followed.
