Contactless Home Delivery
The library is now offering contactless delivery service. If a condition or situation [homebound, in a higher risk category for COVID-19 transmission, living with a disability, transportation insecurity, or otherwise unable] prevents you from visiting a library location, the Bookmobile will safely deliver your library materials and pick up any materials to be returned.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS

Place a hold on the items you want to borrow, choosing Bookmobile as your pickup location.
- π Use the Online Catalog (See how to place a hold)
- π HCPLibrary mobile app
Or let us place holds for you.
- β Call Mike at (317) 462-5141, Ext. 229 to request specific titles or provide reading interests and guidelines to select materials.
When your materials are ready, Mike will call to schedule delivery to your front door (or if you live in a shared building, an outdoor meeting to give you your order).
- π Your materials will be safely delivered in a plastic library bag with your receipt stapled to it.
- π Materials to be returned to the library should be left at the front door as well.
- π All library materials are quarantined for a minimum of 24 hours prior to being permitted for checkout by the next patron.
Deliveries occur Tuesdays and Thursdays.
We will make every effort to get your requested materials to you quickly! Depending on level of demand, deliveries will be grouped by region of county and may be limited to one delivery per household every 14 days.
Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to residents of Vernon Township. Reciprocal borrowers may contact Mike at the number above to discuss alternate options.
