Instructions to creating your own monster

In case you are like me and unfamiliar with the stitches mentioned, I have put the instructions for those here:

Halloween Bash

Don’t forget: This Thursday is the library’s Teen Halloween Bash! Come dressed in costume for extra treats. We have a ton of games and spooky crafts to do, along with creepy movies and CANDY!

Looking forward to a scary-good time, HCPLers!

We’re a week into October, and things are getting wonderfully spooky around the Teen Room.

Check out a creepy-thriller-horror book from our “Books to give you the creepy crawlies” display to start.

On Oct. 6th we made our very own “Monster Book of Monsters” replica from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban! This furry facade conceals an inner compartment to hide treasures and secrets.

Also this week: Join the Teen Library Council on Thurs. Oct. 8, 4-5pm to help make the Teen Room look scary and help us prepare for the Teen Halloween Bash on Thurs. Oct. 29!

Hope everyone’s having a great Fall Break so far. See you at the library!

– Sarah

Happy Halloween!

Hope you all have a fun Halloween! Get your fill of candy

and scary movies!

And remember to watch out for friends trying to sneak up behind you and scare you.

Have a scary good day!
