Teen Winter Reading Club

Teen Winter Reading Club 2019 has arrived!

Signing up

Signing up is easy. All you have to do is go to our Teen Winter Reading Club Page and click “Sign Me Up.” Once there, you fill out the information and voilà, you are registered.

Once you are signed up, be sure to drop by the Children’s Desk at Greenfield or our new Sugar Creek location to pick up your registration prize.

That’s not all signing up does for you. Just for signing up, you are also automatically entered into our Weekly Prize Drawings. Each we draw 5 names to win $5 or $10 gift cards to the following yummy spots.

Logging your Reading

This year we are doing something new! You will be keeping track of the time you read. This makes it easier to keep track of all your logging. Plus it means more chances to get prize slips.

You get one prize slip for every hour you log!

Use these slips to enter into the Grand Prize drawing of your choice.

Teen Winter Reading Club Grand Prize Winners

February was Winter Reading at Hancock County Public Library. Like past years, we had 4 grand prizes that are given to drawing winners. This year we created even more chances to win by giving away weekly prizes to those who registered.

Teen Winter Reading Club 2018

In case you have not heard this month is Winter Reading. During this month, you register online and then log the books (or magazines, ebooks, audiobooks, and graphic novels) that you read during this month. For every book logged, you get a slip to put into one of four prize boxes. On March 1st, one name will be drawn from each prize box to win.

Warm Up With a Good Comic Book

As many of you may know, the Teen Room is home to many of your favorite superhero comics. However, did you know that you can access some of these comic books (and some that we don???t physically have) through Hoopla?

Well, you can! Here is just a small sample of what you can find on Hoopla:
