How to get a Library Card - Reciprocal Borrower Card

HCPL does not directly serve Vernon Township. When countywide library service began in 1999, the Vernon Township Public Library opted to remain independent rather than merge with our library. The good news is that HCPL offers reciprocal borrowing to all cardholders of the Vernon Township Public Library. Bring your Vernon Township Public Library card with your proof of permanent address to HCPL, and we will issue you a HCPL library card.
